Game crashes every time i start! can some help?

i play trackmania daily but last week the game crashes every time i start it??? and i did absolutly nothing than every day before.. i have no idea what to do!!! it connects to ubisoft and today it loaded an upüdate so i thougt it will maybe run . but same thing . the blackscreen with the loading circle in the right corner started und five seconds later the game freezes.
i do the repair function of steam and i installed the game multiple times. ubisoft support is net really helpfull , because they don´t answer my request since 8 days.

has someone an idea what i can do ? need some help here

1. You have a lot of custom blocks and items and I mean a lot. Get rid of some blocks you dont use and check if the game launches properly again.

2. Your config file

C:\Users\you\Documents\Trackmania\Config\Default.json

or

C:\Users\you\Documents\Trackmania2020\Config\Default.json

is corrupted. Open the file with a text editor (fe. notepad) and look for AudioDevice_Oal. If the value next to it is about the size of the entire stadium (aka very long), you have to delete it and replace the value with |Device|Default like so:

"AudioDevice_Oal" : "|Device|Default"

Do not change the audio device if their names have language specific characters (like ąęółśćżź) as they are the primary reason for the corruption.

If that doesn't work, you have to remove the entire configuration and the game will remake it. Keep in mind you will lose your settings, so back up the file first!
