Unofficially official post for the most common of issues. Info mostly taken from the TrackMania discord, reddit and steam forums. I'll try to keep this up to date but no promises.

My game launches but gives me a YEPTREE error!

YEPTREE is the internal codename for "Trackmania" which is used by the developers.
The code after the YEPTREE is the most important part. The error should look something like this:

 Connection Failed (YEPTREE-00000036-BC+A-AA-01-03) 

Most of the time, the issue is resolved by waiting (the servers might be having trouble), restarting the game or fully restarting Ubisoft Connect.

There's no official list of what each error code means, but here are some I know (shortened to last 4 digits). Those are mostly just guesses and most of the time they stop appearing after a while.
- 0000 - Something is blocking your connection to the game, check your firewall/router settings.
- 0022 - Connection timed out. Restart the game.
- 0027 - Your account is banned. Check your email for reason and duration.
- 0052 - Ubisoft Connect is set to offline mode. Turn on online mode again.

If you get this error while in a ranked/royal lobby and you're trying to invite your friends, then your Ubisoft Connect overlay is turned off. Enable it and no error should pop up.

My game shows a "Corrupted installation" error!

This error can be caused by a handful of factors:
- Your antivirus is messing with the game, whitelist the game folder in the antivirus settings
- Your computer specifications are too low to run this game, use a program like Speccy[www.ccleaner.com] or HWiNFO[www.hwinfo.com] to see your specs and compare them with the games system requirements[www.ubisoft.com].
- One of your computer peripherals is breaking the game, unplug all input devices (wheels, HOTAS, controllers) and launch the game again
- Visual C++ redistributable is corrupt or not installed. Download it from here (as long as steam doesn't block it...): https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

It's hard to say exactly what causes this error. If you know what causes it and how to fix it, write it in the comments!

The game doesn't run on Intel UHD/Iris Xe/ARC graphics cards!

The newest drivers for Intel grahpics cards have fixed this issue. Update your grahpics card drivers to version 4826 (or later). This should work for Iris Xe and Intel UHD cards too (although it's not recommended to play on them), but if it doesn't work, try using DXVK:

I bought standard/club access and I still don't have it in game!

The access takes some time to update. Try restarting your game or ubisoft connect. If the issue persists after a couple of hours, contact Ubisoft support ASAP.

My game doesn't launch and there's a message saying: Corruption Detected

You are using an outdated version of OpenPlanet. Update it and the plugins to their newest version.

Your installation of Visual C++ Redists is corrupt or you don't have them installed.

Alternatively, your antivirus could be interfering with the game.

Game says something about commited memory but launches normally

Not exactly an issue, just a simple warning. Close some other programs so Trackmania 2020 has enough memory to run without issues.

There's a popup saying the file is infected! Is this game a virus?

This game is not a virus. This only affects F-Secure AntiVirus users. Add the game to the whitelist in the antivirus settings and it should launch normally.

STEAM DECK - Ubisoft connect unrecoverable error

My game launches but stays on the black/loading screen!

There can be two things causing this:
1. You have a lot of custom blocks and items and I mean a lot. Get rid of some blocks you dont use and check if the game launches properly again.

2. Your config file

C:\Users\you\Documents\Trackmania\Config\Default.json

or

C:\Users\you\Documents\Trackmania2020\Config\Default.json

is corrupted. Open the file with a text editor (fe. notepad) and look for AudioDevice_Oal. If the value next to it is about the size of the entire stadium (aka very long), you have to delete it and replace the value with |Device|Default like so:

"AudioDevice_Oal" : "|Device|Default"

Do not change the audio device if their names have language specific characters (like ąęółśćżź) as they are the primary reason for the corruption.

If that doesn't work, you have to remove the entire configuration and the game will remake it. Keep in mind you will lose your settings, so back up the file first!
