Before the release of Trackmania on consoles and on cloud platforms, we decided to answer the frequently asked questions below.

We hope those answers will help you and we can’t wait to see you on May 15th!

1. Would the subscription model apply to Trackmania on consoles and on cloud platforms?

Yes, the same business model will apply for Trackmania on consoles and on cloud platforms. You can enjoy the basic features with the Starter access. Then, you can subscribe to the Standard Access for $9.99 per year and the Club Access for $29.99 per year or 59.99$ for three years. These three levels of engagement aim to fit every player’s gaming preferences from regular updated content to full customization features and pro-level competition.

2. From what time can I play Trackmania on May 15th?

You can play from 10 AM UTC+2 (Paris time), 5 PM JST, 1 AM PDT and 6 PM AEST.

3. Will the Xbox Game Pass (or other console subscriptions) cover the Standard or the Club access?

No, Trackmania won’t be available on console subscriptions.

4. I already own a Club Access on PC (Ubisoft Store), can I access the benefits on console without buying another one?

No, you can’t cross buy from different platforms of different families.

5. Is Trackmania cross-platform?

Yes, Trackmania will be cross-platform and cross-progression from launch, so you can play with your friends even if they are on other platforms!

6. When will Trackmania be released on Switch?

Trackmania is not expected to be released on Nintendo Switch for now. It will remain available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Amazon Luna from May 15th.

After this successful launch on consoles and on cloud platforms, we wanted to bring more answers to the FAQ we did last week, after the date announcement. We hope you enjoy the game and that those answers will help you.

1. Why does my Standard/Club Access not work on consoles if I bought it on PC?

You can’t cross buy Trackmania, as platforms don’t allow it. We advise you to take a subscription on the platform you are going to play the most.

2. Do I need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to play Trackmania?

You can play the solo modes without getting an online subscription. If you want to play online on PS4 or PS5, you will need the PlayStation Plus. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, you won’t need the Xbox Live Gold to play online.

3. What can I play for free?

With the free Starter access, you can play in the official seasonal campaign, in the royal and ranked matchmaking game modes, and in the Arcade Channel renewed every hour with player-made tracks. You can also create your tracks thanks to the track editor. If you want to learn more about the different levels of access, you can check on www.trackmania.com/access

4. Can I change my access from PC to PlayStation or Xbox?

You can play with the Starter Access on every platform. Trackmania is cross-platform, so you will find your achievements and your trophies on every platform you play on. However, you won’t be able to change your access from PC to PlayStation or Xbox, as you buy it through different stores.

5. Is Cup of the Day free?

The Cup Of The Day is accessible in the Standard Access (9,99€ per year) or the Club Access (29,99€ per year). You can find all the functionalities for each level of access on www.trackmania.com/access
