After the announcement of Trackmania on Steam, we received a lot of positive feedbacks: the team thanks you for it!

Today, we are going to answer to the most frequently asked questions:

1. Will it launch Ubisoft Connect when I load the game?

Yes. When you open the game on Steam, it will open Ubisoft Connect. You will also need a Ubisoft Connect account to load the game.

2. Can I play Trackmania with my Steam Deck?

We are still waiting for the official review for Steam Deck from Valve to know if it is possible. From our tests, the game is playable on the device.

3. Can I switch from the Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Connect to Steam?

Yes! You can switch from the Epic Games Store or from Ubisoft Connect to Steam, but there will be two distinct games on Ubisoft Connect.

4. If I have a subscription on the Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Connect, will it be shared with my Steam account?

Yes. If you have a subscription on Ubisoft Connect or on the Epic Games Store, you will also have it on the Steam version.

5. Will the Ubisoft Connect’s statistics will be shared to Steam?

Yes, the statistics from Ubisoft Connect will be shared on every device.

6. Is Trackmania cross-platform?

Yes! Steam players can play with Ubisoft Connect players and Epic Games Store players. You can also play with consoles players when it will be released.

7. Will it be integrated to the Steam ecosystem (Steam Input, trading cards, friends requests…)?

No, there won’t be Steam achievements, Steam friends or trading cards in Trackmania.

8. Will I be able to buy Standard or Club Access through Steam?

Yes, you can buy the subscriptions from Steam by using the Ubisoft Connect overlay (Shift + F2).

9. Can I use Openplanet with the Steam version?

Yes, you can use Openplanet with the Steam version.

10. Is Trackmania available everywhere?

You can play Trackmania everywhere, where Steam is available.

11. How do I link my Ubisoft account to my Steam account?

12. When Trackmania will be released on consoles?
