Steam Deck Ubisoft Connect login issue

I'm having trouble logging in to Ubisoft Connect on my Steam Deck. I go to start Trackmania through Steam and the Ubisoft Connect login screen pops up but before I can enter my login info Trackmania loads itself overtop of it and as a result I'm forced to load the game in offline mode.

How can I make Trackmania pause and wait for me to login to Ubisoft Connect before it loads the game?

Are there any alternative solutions?

On Desktop Mode the Ubisoft launcher should be accessible in the System Tray. If you connect a keyboard, you should be able to Alt+Tab out of the game while it is running.

I have had some issues with getting the launcher to respond while I was in-game on Ghost Recon Breakpoint, but I did eventually get it to open the launcher on the desktop.
