you dont need to spend any money on the sub to enjoy 90% of the game
the other 10% is the clubs/clans and car decoration stuff.

If you think renting a video game for £30 a year is cheap, then I don't even know what to say to you.

Renting video games is a con. 30 per year is insanely expensive given that the other Trackmania games don't cost that, and you get them forever instead of having to pay again and again and again and again and again.

The subscription model is the worst thing to happen to Trackmania, ever.

30 a year is nothing its a fee you will never notice if you actually work i paid 50 aud for 3 years and i will play my 50 dollars worth plus more its good though that its stopping u from playing as it means we will have less toxic players

Bruh they expect me to pay them a subscription to play on my own dedicated server. I could let everything else slide but this is a joke.

I used to host a server for TM:Stadium, dedicated server hosts are doing everyone a favour. People have more places to play, but importantly it saves Ubisoft/Nadeo money because we're footing the bill to host potentially hundreds of players.

when you buy a game you usually pay around lets say 40 dollars or potentially more how long do u usually play that game? because if your playing your fill you are most likely playing more than that costs worth its a free game that needs to make money in some form of way and the way they have chosen is not even that bad given the low cost for extra features you dont need to buy anyway unless you enjoy the game u can pay that extra for 3 years at the end of the 3 years you still keep all seasonal tracks ect but will need to pay to play well... Arcade and club maps thats about it

Yes feel free to just disregard everything I just said in my last comment.
My main issue is servers. They're forcing me to rent their servers with the club subscription, in order to play on my own server which was assembled at significant hardware cost.

BS. Free content is ~14 same looking maps every week (or month) and if you want much more then have to subscribe.

People are crybabys man, you can try it for free, and if you like it just pay the cheap ass sub, its such a low price, look at WOW where you still need to buy expansion 50 euro and 11 euros each month. This game is free and gets updates with content.

yeah sorry but any game you have to pay for more than once is a scam, I watch a lot Wirtual and was kinda excited to get my hands on this one but after seeing the terrible monetization and having the game crash twice before even getting into the first level, well...
