-Enemy Pathing can be altered by tactical placement of towers,
while this existed in games such as Warcraft, this game introduces crawling enemies that crawl over ignoring things in the way and disable attacking towers while crawling on them, as well as flying which simply fly over and thus u would need anti air on the path they will take.
-There are environment tiles which are beneficial to either you or the enemies and you cannot build on.
you can use the above to direct enemies away from beneficial and into harmful tiles
-Last but not least the game looks great in terms of design.
