Report a translation problem
1. Check Properties > Local Files tab and ensure you are running build 5878565
2. After the crash, go to Windows' Event Viewer and select Windows Logs > Application and find the Windows Error Reporting entry that corresponds to the crash of KingOfFighters2002UM.exe or KingOfFighters2002UM_x64.exe
3. Copy the text of the error and paste it here.
With the beta over, it may not be as easy to investigate this, but we'll see what we can do.

Did you try the "-nomovies" option suggested above? This is a crash in your video driver.
XP is no longer supported.
This is a crash in a Steam driver.
I want to make a note that I wasn't using Window XP, I am currently using Window 10 before the netcode update, after that update,it crashed, with that said, I did manage to fix with the compatibly opinion and it finally worked, thx anyway.
