the differences are in their move sets,The original Kyo is like on kof 2002 (original) +extra special(only for this version).The Kyo 2 is very similar to classic Kyo from Kof 98'/97' with little diferrences(you can play as him on Kof 99').Kyo 1 remember a little the Kyo from 94' his basic move"hadoken command" go on the floor like Iori and he has a triple kick going up(He is on kof 99 too),About Kusanagi He is mix from the clones (Kyo 1 and Kyo 2) He has many moves.Kusanagi is on kof 2002 original as a secret character.

it is good to say that some characters got some original new moves that are exclusive from Kof 2002 unlimited math as Mai and Terry.Takuma,Robert Garcia,Sie Kensou and Orochi team(Chris,Shermie and Yashiro) have a ex version if you hold start and choose they will change.
