I need help with the Cutting Room Floor
I have completed my play through of the game and wanted to go back and unlock every avenue possible in the game. I have already gone back and unlocked every possible outcome in the first two chapters but I can't seem to mix and match the outcomes that I have unlocked to help me get the more tedious unlocks in later chapters.

For example: I went back and was rude to Tom in chapter 1 so that I could get a different avenue in chapter 5 where you listen to Tom's Interview tape. However, every time I try to set up this avenue in the cutting room floor, the game refuses to let me select both being rude to Tom and picking choices of later chapters, always resetting itself to the other avenue (being nice to Tom).

Hopefully that makes sense to someone and I can get some kind of explanation as right now it feels like the cutting room floor isn't letting me do anything I want to do. I was under the impression that the cutting room floor would allow for me to essentially manually alter what happened in my play through so that I could get all the achievements quicker than replaying the game over and over again until I got everything, but maybe I'm wrong.

I doubt they'd let you avoid replaying the game. Most these games are like that, especially when it comes to unlocking Achievements. It's a cheap way of upping the players game time (makes it seem longer when it really isn't, etc)

If you find certain Achievements "tedious" avoid them. Unless if there's a real need to get them, why bother? and you can replay a game whenever you want. Is there a rush to get all the Achievements right now?

Yeah i just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on this starting an entirely new save file when i could've just started it again from the cutting room floor so now i have to do it again from chapter 1 on my main save file, i've done these first couple chapters so many times now i know all the dialogue off by heart lmao.

I don't think there's any way to get all the achievements without having to restart from chapter 1 a couple times. I had trouble with chapter 3 trying to get the Easy Money achievement since you gotta let Sam be beat up by Frank at the beginning. I've never understood why they won't add a skip scene button to these games.

without skip scene this would be complicated to work with, I don't think they've discovered this yet,so don't waste your time just go bed sleep and wait

It'd be nice if there was a "Cutting Room Save" setting you could flip on and off, which allowed you to back out of a chapter, keep the choice, then go to a later chapter to see its outcome.

Not sure I'm gonna want to do multiple runs of half the game just for certain outcomes. Though, in fairness, chapter 1 - 5 for the radio seems like one of the longer ones.

A question about the game, as of today when I buy the deluxe edition, do I get the rewards for DBD? (the t-shirts, charms, etc).

Yes, you’ll get the 2 mil bp, shirts, custom banner/icon, and frank stone’s mask for trapper when you link your BHVR account with both games linked (dead by daylight and the casting of frank stone with your preferred platform). When that’s done rewards will be given when you launch Dbd next time.

Edit: I listed the deluxe edition rewards, standard edition you get a little less.
