Chapter 5 - Physically Bodyblocked by Companions

I entered a room in the Mill on Chapter 5 (had to hop down from the main area, a key located on a table), and my companions have blocked the only way out of the room. I cannot physically move around them, and the game saved me into this room. Restarting means 3 hours of lost progress, someone help?

theres a reddit post somewhere, but essentially you have to go to the corner of the room where the locked door is, and then run to the entrance and try to push Jaime out of the way. Linda's pathfinding is a bit weird so once you get past Jaime you can basically just go through Linda. I had to do the same thing and it took me about 20 mins to leave the room.

go to the cutting room floor and load up the most recent playable scene and start from there, 5-10 minutes of lost progress

You have to have beat the game for the Cutting Room Floor, or purchased the Deluxe Edition (which I did not)

Either way, @yooitsmaddy gave the correct answer to this and saved my game. Just had to brute force hold W to get out. Took about 20 mins.

I tried this multiple times, but it seems Linda is blocking Jaime.

Same :( And only Linda is blocking by me, with Jaime everything is ok but I cannot move Linda

@Candyman1SFT @liisa419 you just have to keep trying, it’s gonna take a bit before it works. you’ll eventually be able to push Linda or squeeze by her.

Linda is the one with the pathing issues, she blocked Jaime into the door for me as well. I found that the more I pushed, Jaime would eventually make an idle animation where he turned sideways for a fraction of a second and I could slide right by.
