TIP: RTFM = 👍🏻💡
I just wanted to state the ( likely to most) obvious and suggest every one struggling with this game read herein and on the Discord server. Even if you've been running this gem since the beta , there may be nuances or little important caveats that you've missed and for which reading this material on the game can maybe help you overcome whatever hurdle you're up against. Take my dumb *ss , for example; I have been wondering how tf all you have been posting run times over 10 seconds faster and in clips , skipping or MPH are 20 faster than mine have been and I have been playing a long time. Only yesterday did I actually understand by rereading that the "SLOW" option in the UI of the Menu was ACTUALLY SLOWING THE GAME DOWN. Not to mention, capping off the FPS at 60. It has now become apparent to me that everyone cannot mash the left control stick twice as fast as I can and you guys all did not have that option enabled like I have since it was implemented. derp

i appreciate your input, did reduce now the FPS to 30, runs a bit better, but navigation is still pretty jerky.
imo, a game should be self-explanatory & shouldn't need to read up, unless it's maybe a RPG.
that's also why i loved the Super Night Riders game, only two buttons, just drive.

i get where you are coming from; I just think this game is unlike any other thus far for it's true similarities to actual freeride skating. I am a fiend for downhill and freeride & these guys have captured it better than anyone; it's a very very technical thing, drifting and sliding a skateboard sideways to eloquently brake without shaving-off speed all while tagging apexes at just the appropriate spot and time and way.....there is no way to further simplify and offer realness than what SlothInteractive has done here. Shred hard, man....

ok, might be Driftwood has captured that part of actual skateboarding, the problem with a game though is, the overlapping group is tiny. i personally am not a skateboarder whatsoever & it surely shows in the way i am playing this game. but i am also not an urban city planner, not a military supervisor, not a trash collector, not an artist, not a historian, not a farmer, not even a gardener, not an explorer, not a student, not a kid, not a cat & so on. i still play games that feature roles like that. the beauty of games is to make it accessible to folks who are not skilled IRL at all of that, cause that's a game, not RL. & i don't get paid for all the work on top, but pay the devs to be able to play the game. the devs have to make the game & the simulated skill accessible to an average player, then the game has a chance to get popular, otherwise it remains a niche curiosity.

take eg today's Daily. where the Rotation Trick has to be generated. you, sp3ctr3 have gained place 7, i, a total desaster, am placed 18th, lol. means, nobody plays the game. & i'm sure, the gros of potential players have never set a foot on a skateboard either.
btw, i like to place in Cities Skylines Skateboard "parks" near a Highschool. :summer2019boost: :lunar2019grinningpig:

edit, wow, managed to get to rank 16, lol
edit, 3039 points, 14, lol
i'm getting there :hiddentreasure:

That makes even a lot more sense to me , now; With regards to skating, I truly do tend to assume everyone that even discusses or does anything loosely related knows as much as me n my crew so thanks for opening my eyes to my siloing perspective!
