Makes no sense to be Heavy CPU to cause Frame Death when running Rainbow Six Siege and Division 2 with no Issues.
Heck can still run R6S with 2 Emulators and Chrome open in the Background and still no FPS issue.
Listen I get what youre saying, but it really isn't a good CPU compared to anything out now. Let me put it into perspective for you... The 2700x which is from 2018 was not even that great of a CPU, the dramatic increase from a ryzen 2700x to a 9900k was insane.
To that point, the 2700x is pretty much on par for gaming with the 3600 which came out a full year later. An intel 9900k came out the same year the 2700x did and that is a 5 year old CPU at this point which is still miles better.
And finally, if we take the 9900k, the 9900k is a lot worse than anything new now. The 3600 is really not a good CPU, its old and it wasnt even that great for gaming when it came out. Just saying.
I do know it's a Entry Gaming CPU yet it still performs greatly and it's why I moved away from Intel.
Only GPU I'll stay Nvdia though.. never did like the AMD GPUs.
Lol i mean theres numerous videos and stats on the CPU. its not that great.
False.
Not false at all lmao. its not a good CPU
False again.

Yes its a few years old, and theres obviously better out there now. I would be disappointed if there wasnt. But one of the best cpus from the past few years dont exactly make it worse just cause better ones are out now, especially on a game thats also several years old. thats like saying an rtx3080 is nothing but worthless e-waste because the 4090s exist.
At 1080p mind you, but that´s my target with this system.
The 3600, while still really good, was never one of the top cpu´s.
At it´s introduction it was classed lower mid-tier, and that´s exactly what it is.
It´s popularity is because of it´s price-performance ratio.
But as I said, it´s still a good cpu and should be more than enough here.
Terrible cpu its not. Its a 6core/12 thread cpu, budget friendly sure but not "terrible." like you state..lol
I have it in my 2nd system runs pretty much everything i throw at it that my 5800X3D runs.
My system is an i7 4790, 16GB of RAM, SSD and a RTX 3060
