Way too difficult...
...and therfore no game for kids, Eventhough one might think.

I play the game in "story only" mode but I am failing/falling down all the time. In the caves I often try 20 times and the I get frustrated of dying all the time.

I am starting to hate these "move the marble" levels.

Is there any mod that might help? I mean a real "story only" mode mod or something?

They could have made this easier cause I guess a lot of kids start playing the game but then get frustrated too.

Love the puzzles and exploring but for me the game was way to easy on nightmare difficulty, I seriously want to have two more higher difficulties for some challenge.
>I don’t understand why people like this want to play games at all if they just want a “press button to win” type of experience.

I assume most people who play on PC do so simply for the prevalent mods that they can use to completely nerf every game they play. After all, I have no idea why you'd otherwise deal with the headaches of PC play and overpriced Steam games. There are pockets of players who are allergic to challenge and have no idea how to deal with it. Years and years of hand-holding games and participation trophies have taken their toll.

And, I'd agree, some of the vaults had some tricky platforming and gliding sections (esp the DLC)...but nothing like a tough side-scroller or more platform-heavy game. If you play some of those then Immortals would feel pretty elementary.

I remember you, every time you post, you have to make a negative comment about Steam (and the people who buy games here). Please stop perpetuating the idea that a person has to solely be either a console gamer or a PC gamer, it’s not true. I own a PS5, Nintendo Switch, Desktop with a 4070, and a Steam Deck. As someone who shops around on all platforms, I can tell you that none of them are considerably cheaper than the others. At any given moment, you *may* find one game on sale on console but not on Steam (and vice versa), but the discounts tend to be in-line with each other.

When it comes to big name AAA releases, you can sometimes save money on physical games purchasing them used on eBay or wherever within a few months of release, that is an advantage but even then it’s not going to be significantly less than the first decent sale within 6 months of release.

PC gamers like to bring up PlayStation Plus which is a definite negative aspect of console but I don’t think it’s that meaningful when I only use my PS5 to play single player games anyway. Plus, the popular free live service games like Fortnite and Apex are playable on console too without a subscription. You only need PS Plus to play paid online games (like Remnant 2 and Space Marine 2).

The point is that there is not a significant difference between either platform in terms of cost of the software. If anything though, Console would be marginally more expensive when you consider all of the games like Space Marine 2 which are $60 on Steam and $70 on PS5.

Well, I played Days Gone in survive-II-mode (the very hardest mode) and I died only one time until I finished the game. The same with Mad Max. I also get along in Immortals Fenyx Rising, the only thing I don't get are the marble cave levels.

I e. g. take the wind up but I can't reach the tower at the other end because when I try to glide there I loose to much height. And then my character screams and screams and sreams by falling down into the big nothing, After 20 tries or so I get so frutrated, that I have to stop playing. Because I know how to glide and how to get up by the winds but I still can not reach the other end! And the screams are getting worse every time my character dies! I just can't stand it any longer! Is there a jetpack somewhere that I have overlooked?

So, this game lost me and I will never ever recommend it to anyone. Simply because it just feels so bad. And I just mean the caves with the marble-parts. Apart from that, I (would) like the game.

Hey guys,

I'm going to lock this thread as it has become a place for insults to others.

Regarding the original post, thank you for kindly sharing your feedback, sorry to hear that this was your experience during your playthrough. A large amount of time is put into designing difficulty levels and even with this, there will be times that games may prove challenging for some players. Your feedback is appreciated and is the type of feedback we use to understand what players might like to see in the future.

Many thanks
