Can this game be played offline?

I will be traveling soon and won't be able to connect my steam deck to the internet for a while, will I be able to play this game when I am not connected to the internet?

Alright just took 5 minutes out of my time to check. Went offline on Steam and disconnected my internet. When I launched game in Steam the ubisoft launcher popped up wanting my password. When before connected automatically, so entered password then Obisoft said could not connect do you want to go offline? I hit yes and the game launched so it is possible to play this completely offline.

I hope it's possible, I know with games like GTA V and Red Dead, Rockstar will let you play offline for a few days before requiring you to sign in again.

I hope it's possible, I know with games like GTA V and Red Dead, Rockstar will let you play offline for a few days before requiring you to sign in again.

I just personally tested it, atm it can work offline. I actually thought it wouldn't either but it did.

Hello Bare, thank you for getting in touch and sorry to hear you were unable to launch the game.

If you were trying to launch the game on the Steam Deck, it is not supported on Steam Deck as verified by Valve on the Steam Store page for the game.

I can confirm this game is playable offline, though you will need to bind the game to your Steam and Ubisoft accounts online first, by being connected to the internet. Afterward, you can play offline.

Thank you for the response, I was trying to play this on my desktop since the ProtonDB page for the game gives it a gold rating. Most games work on my distro but for some reasons this one didn't.
