Countdown Consistent crash issue after last encounter
I have not found anything similar/recent about this, but its driving me absolutely up a wall. I'm not very experienced in programming so bare with me as I try to explain this issue. during every single game of countdown, right after looting the final crate and running away a bit, the game completely crashes to my desktop. I cant seem to figure out what's causing the crash specifically, but it usually happens only seconds after looting. I went as far as purchasing a vpn as well as norton360 out of paranoia that I was being DDOS'd by someone in the lobby who was bitter, but its STILL happening. its making the game unplayable for me and it sucks because I'm trying to grind out exotics and good gear sets, but I cant finish a single game due to this issue. I have been playing this game for about 50 hrs now, which isn't much, but these issues have only been prevalent for the last few attempts at playing this game. for a good bit I was able to finish the game no matter where I ran or what I looted. Any suggestions on what I'm dealing with here? should I re install game? should I quit playing this mode altogether?

Hi $lime,

Apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that your game keeps crashing when playing countdown.

Could you take a look at the PC troubleshooting in the link below and go through any of the steps you may not have tried, then try again:

https://ubi.li/x17TX

However, if the issue persists I would recommend trying each of the following:

- Ensure your game is running on a dedicated GPU rather than an integrated GPU - https://ubi.li/q0hCX
- Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr
- Launch the game in Windows compatibility mode if you are using Windows 11 - https://ubi.li/h0VCZ
- Perform a SFC scan - https://ubi.li/gCxN0 (Win 10 & Below) https://ubi.li/OYBuj (Windows 10 & 11)
- Unplug non-essential peripherals (extra monitors, controllers, VR equipment, etc.)
- Reinstall the support software - https://ubi.li/s9Zj3
- Uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstall them on the same drive as your OS - https://ubi.li/cf8hs

If those steps do not help could you please confirm your PC specifications.
its not you everybody has been having this issue ubisoft just refuses to admit that its a them problem

Hi ♥AmyRose♥(/^▽^)/,

I can confirm that the development team have investigated previous reports of crashes in Countdown but were unable to reproduce it.

As with any crashing issue we would always go through troubleshooting first to see if that helps.

If you are also experiencing this issue yourself, can you please try going through the troubleshooting mentioned above if you haven't already done so, to see if it helps.
