crafting bench upgrade not working

my lvl 31 character now (since the Year 6 update) has the option to upgrade the crafting bench from Specialized (blue) to Superior (purple), but when i apply the upgrade it consumes the resources needed and does not upgrade the crafting bench.

Exact same issue and this is the only other post I can find about it apart from one on Reddit that didn't get any useful answers.

Have you got a link to this list or a post acknowledging it please?

I'd like to post it on that Reddit thread I found which seems to be the only other place this is mentioned as far as my GoogleFu tells me.

im having the exact same problem, ironic because the last time i played it (around 5 years ago) there was a different problem with the workbench which prevented me from being able to acquire the best stuff, and now i return and theres another.... i love the Division so come'on UBI.

I've stopped playing because of this bug hoping if I wait a week or two it'll get fixed and still nothing.

I just tried to upgrade my bench to high-end level and it didn't work. I spent the money but the bench was still superior, I may have lost lots of money cause I didn't realize it was bugged lol.

I don't understand how a critical bug like this doesn't get addressed ASAP. I hope they didn't abandon the game in favor of just keeping veteran players.

The Trello note about this bug has been updated to read:

Players who created characters before TU21 and began the Warlords of New York campaign, but did not complete it, can no longer upgrade their Crafting Station.

And in the note it says "Planned for TU21.2" but I can't find any indication about when that update may be. This doesn't seem to fit with some of the reports that I've seen that people have created new characters and the bug persists for them on the new character - unless its account-specific and not character?


Either way, they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix it.

Another update just dropped but it was to release the new apparel event and not to fix this or any bug still affecting the game.


Think this will be my last character. Lost all interest in this between the bug and the seasonal characters thing. Probably my last Ubisoft game. A decent 1500 hours between the two games at least!


Just need one of the new Looter Shooters to scratch this itch now.
