Problems with Steam Deck
I hope someone can help me.

I dont own The Divison 2 on Steam, but on UbiConnect.

UbiConnect is running mostly flawless on my Deck, i have installed Assassins Creed Odyssey, Origins and others without a Problem and am able to Play with without issues.

But the Division 2 gives me Headaches.
It is not possible for me to start the Game, even after the newly released Patch for EAC which enabled Linux Support.

My Deck always loads EAC and shortly before its finished the Window closes and reopens again the thus the loading begins from the start. And this happens forever.
I tried reinstalling UbiConnect.
Reinstalling the Division 2.
And also tried repairing and reinstalling EAC.

Nothing worked so far and it frustrates me. I would love to be able to play the Divison 2 on the get go.

I would have never imagined how some Games are awesome while being outside.
Diablo2 Resurrected is a blast.
Fallout 76 really nice.
Valheim, awesome.

And i would love to try Division 2 but it just wont work.

Anyone out there who can help me please?

Lets see if this helps: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2221490/eventcomments/3765606379488848370/?ctp=10

In that thread there are people explaining how to update something for the graphic management in the steam deck.

You have to keep in mind that this morning they performed mantainance and some updates and they have probably broken the game for the SD again and you will have to wait for the fix.

Anyway I hope the thread I linked helps you out.

Good luck.

Hey there guys!

Ubisoft don't dictate the ratings issued to titles for Steam Deck, but Valve has marked The Division 2 as 'Playable' on the platform.

This means it should run but additional configuration may be required.

Further to the thread shared by Ruvvens, Valve also have some troubleshooting steps that may be able to assist here.

There's also the Steam Deck boards here to consult with other Deck users.

As the platform is not officially supported, we're limited in the assistance we can offer, but if you do have any further questions, please do let us know!
