According to this post https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/163626/thedivision2-exe-application-error-0xc0000005/5 the supposed solution would be to have the game installed in the same unit in which you have the OS installed.
In other words: make sure that your Windows (or supported operative system) is in the same SDD that the game is. Try that and let me know if that helped.
Thanks for the reply. It was on a different SDD, however I used steam manager to relocate the files (and verify them) to the same SDD as OS. However, same boot error displays.
Any other suggestions? For what it is worth Division 1 / AssCreed / and other games I have, have never had this issue on my PC before.
Thanks for the reply. I went to My Games, and no folder as been created for this game. I guess it hasn't even booted up at all yet.
Damn well, the only thing you can do is Verify the files, now make sure if the game or Easy Anti Cheat is running in the task manager.
Easy Anti Cheat is running in task manager, but I didn't see the game show up. However the computer had a heavy load under 'system'. This makes sense due to the system error (I guess).
If anyone has other suggestions, please let me know.
Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble playing the game.
If this is persisting then I would recommend to complete the steps in our pc troubleshooting guide[www.ubisoft.com] in full to configure your device for the game.
Any trouble, just let us know.

Ok, so you do have an antivirus. Try to make an exception for TD2 folders in your antivirus. Or disable it whenever you want to play. That seems to be the culprit in many cases related to this issue.
Thanks for the update Marco Leclerc, let us know how you're getting on!
