okay how the absolute hell do i deal with getting bum rushed by 4 of these ♥♥♥♥♥ and not getting one shot.

if the answer is more armor where?????? Ive checked all the stores i have 3 segments of armor and that seems the best i can do at this time.

legitimately might quit this ♥♥♥♥ because of these trash mobs.

past that they scale with me so unless im missing something this is truly bad design.

I bet you are the kind of player that run glass cannon and are way to close to the enemy at all times. And cant run a mission without being revived all the time.

I have no problems with them I stay at a distance anyway and do them from a distance they are also easy anyway if you hit the right place they explode very quickly far before.
Annoying were only with the event and the guard was anyway a stupid event.
The guard where all immune makes remains somewhere in the back in cover and all the others come to one and these you can not kill.

Only thing you can do about those guys is shoot them in the chest. Hope they explode and stay back so you don't catch on fire. Other than that once you hear that beeping it's time to roll.

Scorpio to slow them down to kill works, When you hear that beeping dive away from it.
You might escape most of the blast that way.

If you charge and time your dive right you usually can escape the explosion as well.
Cover around the corner also shields you. If you have the vanguard skill it will accept one explosion with no damage to you but the shield will be wiped. You can also take the specialist skill Demolitionist has ignore explosion every one minute ability as well.

Oh you can play tag around obstacles to get them to start the beeping before they explode. Dive is a good tactic when they do. A stringer hive also does wonders to them.

Last note if you're good with the firefly you can take them out before they get to you.

yeah i posted this after dieing to them spawning on me in free roam 3 times in a row, still salty af about the cheep deaths but ive learned that you can just roll around crap/move cover at the right time and poof no damage.

still doesnt change the fact that its bad design. specifically the elite bullet sponge ones just really dumb.

put burn resistance or explosive resistance mods temporarly which ever works (might give u a chance to survive and shoot back) or shoot on the chest.

Your advices are crap, my good friend. especially concerning suicide bombers that can, at time, surround you from multiple direction. especially if you have reached an area for the first time.

the advice boils down to "get gud" is no advice at all.

i gotta say other than him im pleasantly surprised at the lack of replies like his. i remember the division 1 forums on steam being a toxic breading ground where nothing good came from posting.

Chest hits for far to medium range
Head shots for close range it slightly slows their rush and you wont get blown up by setting off the vest.

You don't have to like it but complaining is also an opinion and you have to accept it.

I would have for example for the dark zones an option to turn off the PvP because I hate PvP in every game even if I have played a lot of CoD Online at that time the tastes change especially if you are at a certain age.

If an enemy come to close, dodging is the answer. Its a thrilling wonderweapon to get some space between you and them. But better is to duckshot them with only one hit on his highlighted spot

Nothing wrong with the enemies, probably the best in any game - they'll react to what u do and many times what u don't do. And all the suggestions here are great but don't forget about the most important tool u have - ISAC. Before getting into an engagement always know your exits and available cover positions so when that threat meter fills up two bars u can either immediately engage the threat or rolll/doge to another cover position without getting flanked.

Every time I go down is not because my gear sucks or my weapons can't 'melt' enemies, it's because I got out of position and allowed a threat to flank me.

Roll away at the last second or shoot them in the chest.

The only bad design is immunity, which is really stupid in a shooter. Everything else can be (ab)used to your own advantage. Get explosive resistance and large shield, really helpful in some missions. NPCs won't get out of their spawn points when (elite) suicide bombers kills them all if you're standing at the door.
