anyone got tips for this? ive googled online and it said that farming these global events is a good way but after like 30 legacy boxes I got 1 sys backpack which the build I have in mind wouldnt even use the backpack, is farming conflict a decent way to get them? ive also tried a bit of dark zone but I did read that someone was getting like 2 pieces a month of dark zone farming for it

Unfortunately no, this set only comes in DZ and in lagacycaches. Farm world events, buy heritage caches and pray, dismantle your duplicates from the set to craft the pieces you are missing. I'm like you but I was a little luckier, I've had the game since release and I have the mask, the knee pads and the gloves and enough to make a piece of equipment.

easiest way was to farm the legacy cache with the points you got from the event thats closing today, wait until the next event or do DZ's
