Unsure what to do with Manhunt

I have a "Trial" set at the Red Dragon control point, I think. Since CPs are glitched, I went there and took over the control point. But, nothing happened. On my map, it says Control Point Hercules 0/1. Where is this trial at Red Dragon?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

How do you know this? It only says CP - Red Dragon but when I capture it, it still says the same thing.

Did you figure it out? I have the same issue. I have no idea what to do.

I THINK I still need to do Tidal Basin. I read that once I do Tidal Basin, I can control poins at higher levels.

Did you activate the bounty before going to Red Dragon CP ?

Your mission is a bounty not a take over.

I did - I think? My map shows the yellow icon at Red Dragon, but I don't know how to activate the bounty.

Open map, switch to bounties tab, scroll to the preferred district, click bounty icon in the middle of it, it will open bounties list, select manhunt one and activate it.

Seems a little confusing how they show Red Dragon as the location.

Sorry, don’t mean to be dumb but still confused. I thought I’ll give Echo a try since maybe that was the pre-req for Hercules.

For Echo, I captured Cinderblock but nothing happened. Still shows it’s the manhunt objective and there’s no nearby bounty.

I’m level 40 but haven’t done the Capital mission yet. Maybe that’s why?

When you have this watch, a new icon is added in your inventory. Right column and below the icon for "mods".

The Capitol mission might be related to this, although I'm not sure about that.

I'm sure you have to do a side mission to start this whole manhunt. It's a yellow pentagon icon located in the White House (BoO). You have to find the trigger point for this mission and interact with it. A dialogue will start, I'm not sure if there is a cutscene as well; if I remember correctly, only audio played.

Only when you did that will the missions, CPs and bounties count for the manhunt. You can then usually clearly see what to do, as CPs for manhunting have a yellow icon on the map.
Bounties related to manhunting also have a yellow icon (but this is not to be confused with the more orange icons of daily bounties!).
A new required task will only become visible if the previous task has been successfully completed.

Also note that the map has two different categories, one for manhunting and one for any bounties. Let's say you've completed the starting CP and the next task is a bounty. You need to activate this bounty from the bounty category, not the manhunt category.

I did notice two things last night.

1) The Echo and Hercules Manhunt events show expired under Seasons. Maybe no longer obtainable?

Anyways, tried again and no progress on Hercules with the Red Dragon CP.

This is just normal behavior in the seasons-menu. All parts (4 minor targets and in the end the main-target) are available for replay, when each one was activated during the Season-course, as weeks go by during the season. Right now it's only "Echo" and "Hercules", that are available and will stay available for replay, as long this Season is active. "Leto" will come up next (2 weeks, as stated in Manhunt-overview on map), later on it will be "Nyx" and the final mission.
When this Season ends and the next Season has started, only the final Mission of "First Rogue" will be available for replay. This is the case with all previous Manhunts from earlier Seasons (only the final missions of course).

Alert levels can be changed with "global settings" via map. Standard keybind is "Y". Should be visible on the bottom of the map, where missions and CPs and side-activities are shown ("All" categorie).
But while introducing the "endgame for all" recently, devs / Ubisoft messed up some code. As usual, I should say - I'm playing since 2019. So I don't know for sure, what might be a bug or what is intended behaviour.

Can you choose "global settings"?

Did you do the brief mission to start (or activate) the manhunt?

It is called "The Rabbit hole". It is mandatory!
Only then the manhunt becomes active in the manhunt category of the map. For me, "Echo" and "Hercules" were available.

I have an alt Char, only 12 hours play time. I have leveled this to 40, got the watch, everything in DC (that is new with the "endgame for all"). In NY I have only done one part of the story (which is another Keener manhunt in NY). So story wise this character has not finished NY-story, like yours.
I fast travelled back to DC (also possible since "endgame for all", before that, you had finish NY-story, before you were able to get back to DC with a new character).
With this new character I could do the brief mission "The Rabbit hole" and then I did CP Cinderblock and then DUA mission, both counted as part of the seasonal manhunt. Progress rised to 8 %.

If you manually highlight the link, copy it and then paste - it works :) Steam puts a weird redirect link on it that messes it up.

And yeah, I did the Rabbit Hole quest in the White House.

Did you do Tidal Basin with your alt?

I'm very sure, I did not Tidal Basin with my alt. I did Lincoln Memorial several times to level up to 40 and get the watch. I did it last week and iirc Lincoln Mem, Fed Emergency Bunker and Potomac Event C were the invaded missions.

I am out of ideas. I do remember a previous Season, where there have been also problems with the seasonal manhunt. Progression was bugged, and me and others had to repeat the manhunt several times, to reach 100 %. But then, the bug did not happen to all players, some were affected and some not. And that time there was a patch some where during the season, to address this issue.
I am not aware that there is a bug with the season manhunt this time. Well, the "Echo" part did work for me, but it did that with my main char, earlier.

Doing the weekly BT Invasion might be worth a try. But be aware that this will reset in 19 hours aprox. - when you hover on Tidal Basin it gives you info with a timer.

Or try to find hints on reddit or the official Ubi-discord.

I'm stuck as well, except I stuck unable to start District Union Arena as it's locked by the Jefferson Trade Center: Captain Lewis Manhunt mission. Not sure why it's locked even though I've completed Lewis's twice now. Don't think I'll finish Echo at the point.
