Priority Objective Frustration - Elite Convoys (groan)

My rando objective to take out 2 elite resource convoys. Four Hours later after checking the map every 10 mins or so, in between other stuff, taking out a few normal convoys, and resetting the whole map at least twice.... still nothing. Abandoned the objective and less than 2 mins later ran straight into an Elite convoy in open world DC which hadn't been on the map 2 mins earlier!

Next time same objective appeared - Yay!! An Elite convoy on the map!! headed towards it but on the way accidently ran past a mission entrance and triggered the mission dialog. Guess what - the Elite convoy which had been a mere 400 metres away just vanished off the map as soon as I triggered the mission by running past it!

C'mon Ubi - I don't mind a challenge but chasing shadows gets boring

From my observations, an elite patrol/convoy appears every time I login the game (of course, after waiting +/-10 minutes for all activities to activate, and provided that most (or better yet - all) of the control points are captured by the enemy).

Anyway, the "priority objective" can always be reset and a new one started
