You can get both bonuses on your weapon by switch to pistol and back to same gun. Increased mag size stays after bonus time runs out.

Yeah you can get same thing with brazos. You can even change to normal gear after triggering it and run increased mag with proper dps. Goes well with that modifier which reduces mag for extra rof.
