will i get the battle for brooklyn dlc for free?

i already have the ultimate edition of division 2 back when i bought it a year ago, will the new dlc for free or is it in the new ultimate edition?

All you should need to buy is the base Battle for Brooklyn DLC, which is $15 US. Owning the previous ultimate edition will not grant you the new DLC for free.

What original post? Do you have the link to it? The only thing I see is that the steam page says it is included, so this will cause confusion.

For the first time I have read here that there are different Ultimate editions. Due the Steam store page and proper Ubisoft page the Brooklyn DLC is included in Gold and Ultimate editions.

I looked on net and I found the posts talking about so called updated version of Gold edition ! Means if you buy these editions right after release of DLC, you will get it for free. OMG ! I never seen before such scam !

There is nothing about this alleged new Ultimate or how it is different from the old Ultimate on the store page. So if you missed the stream there is no way of knowing this?

So this is just false advertising. If this is malicious or an accident remains to be seen.

From when was this valid? I bought the ultimate edition recently when it was on sale, and I checked to make sure the new DLC was included, which it said it was.

I have the game on Uplay since a bit lately of release. I never saw any notice about updated editions. Time to time I watched on net videos about patches for the game or events and never saw the stream you mention or any info.

The platforms should announce such things, not the users should search on third sites the info.

Now we can not see if this DLC was included before, only who bought those versions must know. I think that they should call Definitive edition like other companies do.

And all know, who buy first always pays more. Who can afford it, they will not regret. Who paid between tears....But also the game changed completely. I do not regret that I enjoyed good game and not the thing it turned now ( still fine but with some annoying bugs), especially after Brooklyn DLC I am not sure if it will be good ( for what I see on youtube ).

This ticks me off, I have the equivalent to gold. (The mid tier option, base game + warlords of new york) And they just said screw you, pay an extra 15$, well guess what ubisoft, I'm going to wait 6 years or how ever long it takes and buy it for 3-5 dollars. (note: Gold edition, which is now the mid tier option)

Because we can not afford to pay 60-70 euros on release.
But do not worry, I think in short time you could get the DLC for the half of price.
Players who have the game directly on Uplay can buy with 20 % of discount for Ubisoft points, if they have enough of them.

Really this game did not need more bad updates, no DLCs.

This update made me lost the whole day of event and lost some stars I obtained. There is no server, mike-01 error all the day. Also there was not any warning on Uplay.
