How's the population?
Only 4k on steam the day after it came out, but do lots of people still play elsewhere?

Most ppl dont play using steam since its a old game id guess.

Most people don't play on steam because it came on steam yesterday.. thus most play on the uplay launcher where it's officially released with others on epic

I dunno if that is true. Is this game cross-platform? Beacuse on the ps4 I struggle to find a group for anything at all.

Whether they play solo or not, they still are counted as part of the population. I mainly play the game solo, by choice, not because I can't find others to play it with.
