But this one is an exotic, which, for those of us who haven't been playing for that long, is helpful because it means one exotic component.
well I havent been playing for long, just got it on last sale for 5 bucks, why does one need an exotic component? what does it mean to have that? how does that make anything better?
or is it purely the idea of it being "special" ?
If the stats on it are really low, you could also re-roll to try to get better ones (bit risky, since that'll also change that third attribute).
And you get exotic components by deconstructing exotics, and I'd guess most people only deconstruct exotics they have duplicates of, so it's not that easy to get the components, especially when you don't have the gear for farming on high difficulty. I don't, so getting a second Doctor Home is useful to me (even more so when it takes 10 seconds to get it).
