lighting issues
so this is the best lighting i can get at night time. hope the link gets accepted. https://gyazo.com/4e52e817440807f1377ed081d26abcfe does not matter if there is fog or no fog. assuming the link is accepted and working can anyone tell me what i can change or do to make it playable at night time? without hdr its even worse at night. only in complete darkness is the game playable

I'd recommend using imgur. I don't recognize that site, so I won't be clicking it.

that may feel its a bug, well bad news for you, it is NOT.
game was designed that way, meaning you have that fog plus the blind glare of the spotlight.
In other words you cant improve what is the game natural state.

There was many complains about it since game released about that. Even more about the glaring effect of the spotlight that are always facing the player instead of iluminating a area. Nothing was done, so that measn nothing WILL be done.

You just need to get used to it.

Note:
There is a option that reduces light when the you play in a dark room. I dont remember the option name, so just search it. That options does help with the Blind effect of the spotlight, but doesnt do anything to the fog.

but it will darken everything too, and the part i dont like about that is what it does to the Map ("M") . So just try it.

Developers probably made this game in a bunker without even considering that there are also sunny days and some homes have a lot of windows. Not everyone lives in a bunker or basement. If there is too much natural light in a room you just can't see anything. It's intended as it creates a false sense of difficulty. If you can't see where to shoot, enemies have better chance to survive longer. They don't care about complete darkness, heck they even see and shoot players through bushes and keyholes at 100 yards. You can use natural lighting (extra dark), or not. But this has no effect when your room is flooded with sunlight, darker areas just appear as black on screen.

the lighting is rather good as long as there its dark and no lamps are shining.
