Just hit lvl 30... confused

So i hit lvl 30 nd expected some sort of fanfare about it, but nope... nothing. I hit it and now im not leveling up, havent been introduced to world tiers or anything.

Do i have the WONY dlc but havent visited the pilot yet, thought id get through all the base game stuff then start the DLC.

Should i have gotten some new mechanic at 30, like gear score or world tiers or... something lol

I came back to the game today and want to go to new york now.
but i want this missions done since you say it will bug up otherwise.

The Dark Zones are the 3 areas on east, south and west side of main map.
They have this purple symbol selected on the map (DZ East entrance) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2950494749
At first they are called "DZ recon mission" and when accomplished you'll see extraction points (orange up arrows in DZ) as on the map above.

The MOST important is the south west remote location of the Pentagon where you MUST do side mission "Pentagon Breach" which unlock Pentagon main mission. Completing Pentagon mission will unlock DARPA Research labs.

If those aren't done at level 30 (WT5), you will be unable to run the missions (at level 40) on your own as they will be locked !

If doing everything is important to you, get to world tier 5 and do the Pentagon mission before you go to New York, Pentagon mission will glitch out, typical Ubisoft fashion they know about the problem but will forget it even existed.

To be fair, it might glitch out. I ran Pentagon several times in a month with no issues. But this game has dumped me out while shooting, running from one destination to another, moving from cover, looking through inventory screens, and on and on. Crashing has been well documented and while I don't believe no one plays without it happening, where and when is super random.

if you lvl 30 and done story go to dlc dont waste time on tiers thats old system which one is gone on lvl 40

The story is done when you have levelled through World Tiers by freeing invaded fortress.

If you move to New York earlier you boost your character.

Coney Island I don't think it bugs out like the Pentagon, the first 2 characters I made, one I didnt boost but got to 30 and went to New york, went back to DC after then tried to do the side missions in DC, and the pentagon was glitched out, couldn't do it.

2nd character boosted by going straight to new york, when I could back to DC I did, tried the pentagon, it was glitched, told me to breach the pentagon even though I did.

My 3rd character I did everything in DC until I was able to go to the pentagon, and did both the pentagon missions without a problem. High chance if you don;t do the pentagon stuff before going to New York, you wont be able to later.

I did pentagon but my god i cant kill the last boss in Darpa labs..
I gave up for now and will try another day.

There's no shame in requesting backup. 90% of the time another agent will help u finish the mission then quietly leave.

i did that and they helped me and leaved...was so happy,
now im going to New York i dont care about coney island, ill take it vwhen i came back.

I'm level 40 having played though the main campaigne followed by WONY and only recently unlocked DARPA lab for a 'season event'. What bug(s) should I expect?

Well, it will keep telling you to breach the pentagon, even though you just did, and thats it, can't do the missions, its possible to have someone start the mission and you complete it but some people says it don't work, of course ubisoft acknowledged that they are aware of the problem, but by the time they do actually give a crap about it, The Division 3 will be long out with its own set of problems that never get fixed.
