Offline mode when?
It would be cool of Ubisoft to add an offline mode for this game and the first Division, so you know... should something happen, people who paid for it and supported it for all these years could at least keep it in their libraries. It would be a great gesture towards your customers.

It’s not clear why it’s online at all. This is not a pvp game, not an esports game, and not a battle royale game. Without good servers and specialists to maintain them, Ubisoft decided to enter the market of online PVE games. 😂
And there is no need to write about any requests here; they don't even know about the existence of this forum. Try writing to them on tiktok, twitter or wherever they hide from problems and communication 🧱🤥🧱

Main reason why it's online only is very simple. MTX.

UBISOFT is dying and they don't care about their users.

We won't lose anything from this. Let them reap the fruits of their “work”

Once Human remind you of Division 2? Many things there seemed familiar to me. It's a shame that pokemon ruined everything 🙃

Never. Because TD2 is an online only live service PvE game where all character progression is stored server side and not locally.

No. The game will be available to download. All online services will be unavailable. This has been practiced more than once in many games.

Progress and saves can be stored by Steam Cloud

They already said TD2 will never have an offline mode. Curb your expectations because it's literally never going to happen.

Who are they? Do you have contact with the owners of the company or people who have the rights to the game? Don't listen to ordinary workers. It's not up to them to decide.
If they give the command from above: make an offline patch, the project will be closed. Everything will be done.
Knowing Ubisoft, they most likely won't do anything. If this does not oblige them, due to legal subtleties, to provide games for us. After all, we are the lessees/owners of the copy.

The stock price is super low. Best time to invest.

The dev team ya walnut. Offline mode isn't possible because the core source code was designed for online only play.

Same reason why cross-play isn't possible.

Ubisoft will not give up the online game files, that's absolutely certain. When they leave or close, the files will remain on the servers that will be closed.

The Crew 2 and Motorfest are getting an offline patch soon. Both are online only live service games. So it is possible, but only when the community applies pressure.
