Standart VS Ultimate ?

Unfortunately, I am afflicted with the "Steam Achievement" sickness, and I couldn't play any game unless it had Steam achievements. However, achievements have now been added to The Division 2!

I can finally buy this game. If I were to start this game now, which version would you recommend: the Standard Edition or the Ultimate Edition? I can't quite understand the differences even after reading the descriptions.

Could you please recommend which version you would suggest, along with the reasons? I’m not particularly interested in skins or in-game currency.

Yeah i had this after Xbox360. Word of advice. Start playing games without cheevo's. You're ruining a good thing, it's a dopamine issue, MMORPG's operate on the same part of your brain lol. Monster flavored skinner boxes. At least with those, you're not abstaining from awesome games because of a shallow reward cycle that at the end of the day, doesn't mean jack sht, and only you care about.

Standard version (with DLC) is just fine. The Ultimate comes with cosmetics, ingame currencies to buy cosmetic, and an altered version of 2 exotic weapons (Lullaby and Ruthless). Plus, 8 extra skippable missions. If you have a completionist mentality go with Ultimate, otherwise don't. The Ultimate version won't impact your gameplay much.

Apparently, the complete expansion of Warlords of New York (WoNY) comes included for free in the standard edition, but only for NEW users. Old users have to pay a small "upgrade fee" to get WoNY expansion. The difference with the Ultimate edition is that it offers WoNY + Year 1 Pass + instant access to endgame content. I don't know if it's worth it as I'm in your same position, reading and reading FAQs without understanding what the hell does the standard edition includes or not. (Steam page hasn't been updated, so don't trust the "comparative grid")
