How to turn off a season?

I don't really understand where to do this.

if you mean the season directives,
go to your inventory and right besides the special weapon is a new button, push it and inside the new screen you can deactivate it

Sadly cant turn off the season theme.
So you will die shooting enemies sometimes...
It's the most stupid idea i've ever seen.
I dont know if other players bring that theme with them if they have it on and you don't.
But shooting enemies with that symbol on top of their heads at different ranges will reflect damage back to you and kill you.

It's safe to use skill damage though.
I use the Eclipse Protocol to deal status damage.
Or the O'L Turret and Drone combo.

That's why I want to close this season.
When you see the icons on the enemy's head, one big hypnagogia begins. + someone in his student years didn’t get enough of playing with a ruler and still wants to measure everything.

They must been thinking all the returning player and new player are enjoying the patch for "how fresh and exciting" it is.

I'm super disappointed in how mediocre this season truly is, I was excited until I played it. Now i'm just considering uninstalling for the final time, maybe Division 3 will be better, with an actual dev team behind it.

So it does work if you turn the season modifier off for yourself.
But if a player joins and has it on it enables it for you as well...
So you cant REALLY turn it off unless you play solo.

This is called forced play. They probably did this so that at least someone would play during this schizophrenic season. And for sales.
I can't understand how anyone could come up with something like that.
Can also relax in other games. It's time for my agent to go on vacation or retire 😊👋

I have no desire to play Descent and if that shuts off the season journey for me then so be it.

One thing I am getting highly annoyed by though is the fact that the "Talk to Wally about the program" message, up by my radar, cannot be removed without partaking in descent or hiding my entire UI.

All I want to do now is cut Wally up into little pieces and flush them where they belong.

Otherwise I am enjoying the portions of the game I enjoy and completely avoiding the portions I don't (like the season theme)...except that annoying notification of course.
