Very lost on how to progress past level 30. Help please.
I'm level 34. I have the full game (DLC and whatever else). I wanted to complete everything in the normal game before going to the DLC but i'm lost af because after level 30 it appeared a ton of things in the map.
Like, my last story mission was some Owl guy from the Outcasts gang. Now, i have a Main Mission called CAMP WHITE OAK, except from what i've read this is not part of the main story and it seems i need to do 2 gang camps to unlock the final one that it is The Capitol.
Then i have two side missions, one in Coney Island and another in Pentagon.
Then from what i've read on reddit there are more side quests to appear till i reach 40. And even reading their guide didn't help me much.

So, wth do i do? Where do i go exactly? I want to complete all side missions first in the normal map then do the main missions to complete the story then reach lvl 40 then go to the NY DLC.
Thanks in advance.
*EDIT: ALso, what is world tier and where do i see this? The game didn't show me this.

I read somewhere that they got rid of the world tier and gear score because for ever i was looking for that as well.
Just do the ones that say side missions first, then hit the gang camps and unlock the final one. I had no idea which order to do them in and I just hit them all and finally went to NY., A lot of things about this game confuse the ♥♥♥♥ outta me.

Just go to New York and complete the whole DLC. There'll be 5 main missions and couple of side missions. After finishing Liberty Island a cutscene will play and you'll get the SHD watch, which then you'll have to boost till 1000. Alternatively, if you don't want to play the DLC you can ask someone to get you to lvl 40, anyone with 2-3k shd lvl will kwtd.

Except i don't want to do that. I want to experience all of the base game then do the DLC.

Yes, this game is TERRIBLE at explaining to the player how to progress story wise. It's a mess.

Once you do the capital mission against true sons. Then a new enemy invades D.C. after you beat them, then you do New York story line wise.

Wrong.

They changed the game to a One Endgame. Players do not have to go to NYC to get level 40 to unlock the watch.

Players unlock the watch after reaching level 40 without having to go to NYC.

You don't even have to complete the DLC to reach level 40. I am not sure why people are telling you this.

There shouldn't be any restriction to you reach level 40. Once you reach level 40, you unlock the watch and you do not have to complete the NYC storyline to do so. It's possible to reach level 40 and not even complete the base storyline if you wanted to.

The game at this point does not have any leveling restrictions. Before the One Endgame, yes players did have to complete the NYC storyline to reach level 40 and unlock the watch, but this is not the case anymore. Along with the One Endgame, World Tiers are no longer part of the game.

Once you reach level 40, you unlock the watch and begin the SHD leveling with the watch.

I am also confused to your overall post. You mentioned you can't progress past level 30, but are level 34. You should be able to continue leveling up to 40 without any mission restrictions.

i mean level 30 beacuse it was at that level that the map opened up more and i got access to specializations and it seems that level 30 is a big milestone when talking about progression in the game.
I'm currently doing those special purple missions just to see how it is and then i will go do the strongholds. It seems the logical way to continue is: white oak, zoo, pentagon and darpa, coney island then DLC.

Can confirm. I was already leveling up my watch when I did NY. I too wanted to play the base game first and then go to NY. I ended up fartin around in DC for quite a while before I went to NY.
It should be noted that when you complete NY new targeted armor types will open up in NY and DC like the Striker gear set and Empress etc... I never saw any of those until I finished NY.

Level 30 used to be the last level until the World Tier system. It was milestone in the old system, but isn't in the One Endgame.

To add a little more detail: After the new faction shows up, you will have a number of old side missions that are new again, they should be marked a bit differently on the map. These are how you unlock the new main missions, which should unlock in order unless UBI really screwed up (it's been a while since I played. I wanted to let some of the dust to settle and things to normalize a bit after the swap from world-tiers and separate progression to a combined one). The new faction should invade after doing ALL 3 of the main gang 'final mission' assaults on their main base, District arena, Roosevelt island, and Capitol building, iirc, for Hyenas, Outcasts, and True sons respectively,
