The people playng hardest difficulty or solo. The story diffuculty not anymore.
And for the current season, it's much faster doing it solo on lower difficulty.
Plus the seasonal modifier is bugged, anyone who's disliking it must be playing in solo. Or else the game spawns modified enemies without the UI element.
On top of this, there's roughly 50% of player joins the game because of the sale. I don't think they know how to queue up for random mission, for how unclear "join random game" located in menus.
Game is on it's 5th year. Game released in 2019, making it 5 years old, not 6.
This game is hands down one of the easiest games to progress and level up.
I thought I was misreading your comment, but I struggle to see how activities are taking long or are difficult. Even then, that's how they should be. This game overall should be much harder than what it is. It has one of the most brutal game lore but has the most casual gameplay loop in existence.
I am level 6k SHD and have been maxed out on gear for over 3 years. I was very much looking forward to the idea of seasonal characters, because even on Heroic with 4x directives, the game overall is not too challenging at all. Even if the content itself was difficult, there is no consequence to dying or any sense of urgency to actually complete a mission, activity or task.
There's no weight to our actions which is why I believe makes the game feel boring. There should be some consequence to dying. We get killed, then spawn back like nothing happened.
I strongly believe when players have some risk to dying or failing a mission, not only creates a sense of urgency, but makes the game more engaging to continue playing.
Game still released in 2019 and the game is still only 5 years old and not 5. Year six in this context means the game will be on it's 6th year when this year of content ends. IDK why they numbered like that but they did.
This year of seasonal content is technically years 5. They were supposed to start this year going to back to Year 1 with the release of seasons 2.0 anyway. I.e. This season was going to be Y1, season 2.
Still not 6 years. Never thought this had to be an actual debate. lmao
