good gear/exotic combos

so currently, ive gotten a few new exotics from this season event thing and now im trying to figure out if they are any good/worthy of a build.

so far ive been running a striker build, straight up firearms build with the gunslinger holster and prophet, with st elmos engine and an sr-1 ive had built since pre warlords.

im sure itd be easier to list what i dont have but so far ive received catharsis, liberty, the collector, wave form, messenger knee pads and the tardigrade armor system. i also have a lot of entry level exotics and a good chunk of the named items to choose from.

im a solo player as all of my friends have quit the game eons ago, while im just recently getting back into the game myself, so any builds that can kick ass solo are warranted, but i do love playing the support role in multiplayer settings.

biggest complaint i have with these dumbass arguments lmao, like if you thought i didnt know about youtube guides, do you think id be here? im not gonna sit here though a 10/15+ minute video with a bunch of bs filler content when it would only take four minutes to explain full gear set and build instead of padding for ad time.

Memento and NinjaBike Messenger Bag open up ALOT of build combos.
Memento by virtue of giving DPS, skill and armor all in one go + 3 cores, Ninja for counting as a set/brand item.

My favorite go to is Memento, heartbreaker set with Technician specialization for the mark laser. Go flatline on your main weapon, or use the Kingbreaker. You get insane survivability and good damage. Switch out Memento for Ninjabike if you're running in group and make up for the difference by grabbing an extra set or brand bonus.

Indeed, most of these videos are crap, often uploaded just to make quick bucks with clickbait titles that includes words in capitals like "BEST", "INSANE", "MELTS", "SHREDS", etc. They're often smooth talkers, and that might give people the impression that they know what they're talking about, until you start examining their builds carefully and read the Youtube comments.

thats exactly why i come to discussion pages and reddit, no use in asking someone whos only in it for views and money, when i can ask actual people who play the game day in and out

Ignore it :) i have tryed certain build from youtuber and is really bad.

Only lost resource and time.

My tips is go on the division 2 discord and ask a build. For the rest is only a rude and i not reply on it.

Rogue gold, gcrock, nothingbutskillz 2.0 and I forgot his name with a bandido. Those are the youtubers I follow for good builds.

If you're running Striker or Heartbreaker, a Rock N Roll shotgun as secondary to build stacks is amazing. 30rd mag full auto, 8 pellets per shot= 8 stacks per shot. 12-13 shots or so for full stacks, then switch to Elmo or Lexington etc.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thats elite, didnt even think shotguns would add more stacks like that god im dense, ive been using a named vector with perfect killer on it
