Problems with referral program, pls help

I bought a game for a friend, i want to invite him to the game through the referral program. For some reason it appers to him that im inviting him to play via PlayStation (i said him to not accept it). But i dont have a console or playstation account.

The Support wrote:

What you can do in this case is try to refer again choosing the correct platform to check if the system lets you.
I didnt quite understand the last paragraph. What exactly should i do?

Incorrect platform is more of a visual bug and those rewards normally work anyway. Unless you get extra bugs, where even referral icon is active in-game, but you still get nothing.
