Probably, If you have 13900k & 14900k you may have to google why its been crashing over the period of a year now and why its the most talked about CPUs in every gaming forum with the same result of CTD

You could also try using dx11 in the game

Worst I've seen. It was fine a couple of weeks ago, I come back from a holiday and it can't even get past displaying the 'powered by snowdrop' graphic without crashing out.

I thought we were past this :(

Think was over a year ago when the game crashed a lot for me and all I did was change what directx it was using in the settings menu. I know it had something to do with directx from what I can remember. I just got back to the game like a couple days ago and I don't crash at all.

Ironically I am having the same issue with the same hardware, directx 12 enabled for me, can't really get in to try and change it unless there is a manual way. Was running fine up to the last 2 days. i9 14kf and 4090 with plenty of ram to spare on a NVME.

So in my case this looks like it was a bad nvidia driver update. A new one came up today which I installed and then re-ran from steam. All good until an EAC problem with a corrupted game file, so then did the "verify game files" from steam and all is good now. Yaay.

Just did update GPU drivers, no crashes yet. Before wasn't able to get further than descent loop 2.

crash has been there for maybe two years. I remember when I started seeing it after a patch, but can';t remember exactly when. They are not going to fix it and yes we all crash eventually. They have been building on top of bugs for years now that fixing it will remove core features and will break the game. On top of that the people patching are not the original developers. These are woke blue hair freakos that got the job for being weird not for being capable of getting the job done. If not crashing would've been fixed already
