[PVE] Getting killed by rogue agents or tougher bosses on Summit

Hi,

After completing main game and dlc I jumped straight into the summit (read somewhere that it's the best way to achieve targeted loot for a start and collect decent starting build). From floor 70 or so I've been doing floors on heroic difficulty and couple of directives active.

I find completing floors with casual enemies (an even some floor bosses) not too difficult, even though I usually end up dying after being hit 4-5 times.

building as much crit chance/damage as I can.

Problem is, when I start floor and rogue agents appear on Heroic or Challenging difficulty I can't do anything to them. It seems like I put 30-60 bullets into them and I barely do any damage, while they kill me in 1-3 hits. I can't even blind shoot them from cover as they still kill me in couple of shots. Same goes, when I've reached floor 100, those 2 bosses are just pure cancer, just like rogue agents on random floors, those 2 kill me instantly.

What am I doing wrong? Maybe have some other suggestions for solo pve (all around good) build?

Right now my goal is too complete summit and other missions solo on pve at least on heroic difficulty without worrying stumble upon rogue agents and tougher bosses.

It’s just a completely red striker build… Against Rogues, I like to use Heartbraker or a skill build, both of which offer much more survivability (in different ways). The point is, you have to separate them and fight them one by one, preferably waiting for them in the anteroom… Level 100 is a different story, I don’t know if it’s doable solo, especially the Hunters, where Heartbraker with Catharsis has proven to be effective.

I would suggest swapping chest for ceska+obliterate and use 4th strikers either on mask or gloves. Keeping up 200 stacks with ar/smg can be a bit of a hassle when you constantly go in/out combat in summit.
For rogues swap one skill to foam for cc. When you spawn them, go back out of room and camp outside, once they come at you, foam and kill. If you have scorpio, feel free to use that for extra cheese.
Overall just matchmake summit with randoms (more player>more enemies>more loot>more joy). Or even better, play countdown for loot instead.

keep a tech build on you turret and drone. When you hear "Rogue Agents" switch, staying in the hallway and chucking the tech in is the easiest way to kill them.

Did you activate Golden Bullet Event? It works in Summit and may be getting you one shot.

Rogues hack turrets and drones. And even with max skill dmg they will outheal that crappy damage.

I've seen rogues hack in summit many times.

Play in team of 4 and use foam launcher for the Agents and Bosses. I find the foam launcher extremely useful when you pair it with the In Sync weapon talent. You can also use turret or drone to distract them while shooting them. I tested few builds and mostly what works for me is optimal build with electronics lvl 6, 109k dmg on my 556 and 950k armor (ninjabike build). I have 950k armor heal with my healer launcher so it's very hard for tne npc's to kill my teammates or me, good luck. Also use the cover :D
