Matchmaking not finding anyone for 2 days

is anyone else having trouble with matchmaking?
i cant even find a match of countdown anymore!
i was grinding everyday without problem, and all of a sudden this happens.
i tried missions, the dailies, other difficulties.
usually Countodwn is the easiest and quickest matchmaking.
something going on?

I guess it depends on when you're online. I noticed it's much more difficult, but definitively not impossible to find players during night time. During the day seems to be just fun.

i dont use mm. use the back up call thingy. ya get game with peeps fast.

Use the Call For Backup feature. Not many, if any people really use the matchmaking for the open world.

Calling for backup has a Shepard rank that players like to level.

Anytime I call for backup it's almost instant that I get someone in my group.

yeh but 'calling for backup' makes me the host.
Sometimes, i like to join a group , specially when it comes to Countdown, i dont want to be the owner of the lobby.
i personaly dont like it when i get a call for backup and turns out someone is doing a Rooseveld Stronghold xD those people should just do matchmaking imo

Like I said, players like responding to backup requests over matchmaking because it awards players Shepard rank.

ok i get that. But when you guys use matchmaking now, on Countdown for example, are you able to find a lobby?
i just tried again and still i cant find ANY lobby.
not on countdown, not on the daily mission
not on heroic, not on challenging.
i feel like something is wrong with my game :S

this game should've had a proper browser like every other coop game. A browser where it shows the mission you are doing and the difficulty you are running. That way I don't have to keep joining random people running on anything lower than heroic. I'm tired of joining and leaving to go back to searching. Not saying they should remove the system they have right now. Just saying that it needs a browser to search for lobbies hosting the games you want.

luckily enough i was able to find matches again today.
Also did 2 incursions with the clan and still no smg xD the grind continues!!!

it feels like the playerbase is not large enough to implement a thing like that.
It would not be wise to split up the searching players, with this amount of active agents.

I've always thought that browsers are the best way to quickly join in the fun. Also, they paint a clear picture of in what condition the game is population wise and I think that's why they don't want to have it. I sometimes also stand there waiting for a match on open world, missions, bounties you name it, and nothing but normal to challenging difficulty or new people running storyline. Not enough heroic runs. Might find one or two. But after that it's like funeral and thats in a good day. I think the game is in bad shape. Not dead yet, itll never be dead, because it's a coop game and all you need is a friend. But it is not in good conditions.

Also, make sure you don't block anyone, because if they are in a group, you wont be able to join that group. It limits you. Same if people block you. Their groups wont be accessible ever again. So be nice to everyone

backup calls are not sent to every single agent like you might think. I know because my husband and I sit next to each other and we noticed this a long time ago. sometimes I get them and sometimes he gets them when I don't and yes this is while doing solo runs

do you even know what a game browser is? its not a third party software like edge or chrome. Its within the game. I know you've played Halo games. Have you ever played left 4 dead, or gears of war, maybe Bad company 2? What is so annoying about something that shows you every single lobby running? The world tier they are running, the people in the lobby, what district, what bounty is active at the moment. You find it annoying to have something that helps you inform yourself? Have you even joined a group running legendary not knowing is legendary? Because I've been playing this game for 3000+ hours and it happens to me all the time. I end up going to the white house to change builds a lot of times because of it. Come on dude, stop hating on great ideas for no reason. Anyway, this game all it is it's a glorified coop game. You make it sound as if it's an MMO. It behaves like one but it's just a coop game.

for example this is a browser. they implemented it not long ago in halo. People love it. It makes it much much easier to go in and have fun on the exact world or map you want to play.
