Do I need the season pass ?

Just finished warlords, and it seems in order to play the seasonal missions (I think its the manhunts that have the cutscenes), I have to be level 48.... do I actually need to play the game for another 50 hours before I can do these manhunts or should I just buy a season pass ?

you can doo curent manhunt or previous free without season pass

you just have to level up the non-premium season pass to do the past Manhunt Missions

Just to be clear, you do NOT need to buy anything to progress or unlock missions. The pass only gives you access to rewards at bottom of the screen, for the seasonal levels.
