Heavy stuttering and lagging
I played this game on a friend's PS4 and I liked the game and chose to buy it here. I opened the game, created my character and everything seemed fine, but every time I walked from one point to another my game would freeze for a few seconds and when I came back I would run still, as if I had hit an invisible wall. Has anyone has/or experienced this?

Sounds like your game is having to load assets and it's taking a long time. What HD to you have it installed on?

In my primary, It has 500GB. Now that you mentioned that, indeed I notice the game having trouble rendering everything in the map

Maybe try moving it to a different drive just to see. Steam makes that pretty easy. Your primary drive might be overheating or failing. If that doesn't fix it, maybe try lowering the render distance and/or texture quality. That should slow down how much data the game is trying to stream from disk.

You might need to have a think about your cooling situation.

If you only have one HDD that runs Windows to ....Good luck then.

Unfortunately, none of these suggestions worked. The render was already on low and I still had the same problem, lowering the quality of the textures didn't work either and changing the HDD game didn't change anything at all.

Unfortunately it's Ubisoft that has to solve these performance and optimization errors, if I still had time I would ask for a refund.

Run this in admin CMD:
@echo off
cd c:\windows\system32
lodctr /R
cd c:\windows\sysWOW64
lodctr /R
cd c:\windows\system32
WINMGMT.EXE /RESYNCPERF
cd c:\windows\sysWOW64
WINMGMT.EXE /RESYNCPERF

Restart your PC and then run admin CMD "winsat formal -restart clean" and ofc restart and try again if you still got the issue well might be your pc specs idk...
