Yes. Base game is awesome, working through the story and the world tiers. WONY is horrible. Post-WONY endgame is awesome. Decide if you want to play 100-200 hours of base game or if you want to suffer through WONY to get to the endgame and probably play for 1000 hours.

If you have a PlayStation you may already have the base game free and that is probably good enough for most people. I still play that with my friends sometimes but my main game is PC post WONY end-game.

WONY is NY dlc there is only one dlc for this game and that one you need to get endgame content

For trolling on a game they don't own, maybe. They may have played it on UPlay or on console. Banned from what, this thread or steam in general. I've never seen that before.

If you have never played it, it is the best looter shooter out there imo and has THE best cover mechanics and gunplay. They have also added a ton of content since release. I'd recommend picking up WONY (the DLC) as well because it adds more to end-game. I recently started playing again on PC after having 270+ hrs in on PS4. It's a good game through and through, but because it is so far in it's life cycle, be prepared to be VERY behind other players. Meaning the Dark Zone will be unkind to you.

Yes but outside of darkzone that doesn't matter. The playerbase has been very helpful to me for everything else. I mostly play it all solo but I answer calls for backup as much as I can and call for when I need it.
