Gear set bonus or manufacturer bonus. Which is best?

I've been having trouble with whether to run either a gear set (like strikers) or to have manufactor bonuses. Not knowing what to run with is causing a crisis. Which would be better for endgame content?

I would say the classic basic: Strikers chest, backpack, gloves and holster, knees Fox's Prayer and mask the Coyote's mask. In your gun, have also Damage to Target Out of Cover. All cores red and all with Crit DMG.

Strikers is currently considered the meta gear set for endgame DPS. There's one or two builds that are best for that. But outside of running raids or the incursion, running other stuff is just more fun.

Fox's prayer, but not Picaro's holster?

why would you use picaros holster? there is much beter options
to get best dps you need coyote, grupo chest with oblitirate and all other striker

I feel like picaro's holster is a necessity because it gives both weapon damage and armor. Im not the best player in the world so im not doing full red cores. i prefer 3 red and 3 blue
the chest piece would ultimately do more damage because it would get to 200 stacks, so if thats full, you'd be doing 200% more damage. While yes, obliterate would help doing damage slightly faster, but with dark winter and wearing the striker chest would do more dps. at least with all of the striker videos i see.

There is no direct answer to your question, since they are dependent of what you wanna build and what you wanna do.

But if you are a new player, then you are probably feeling lost, because you still dont know what you wanna make or maybe how to make it.

so, with the lack of that info, i would say, give priority to a "Gear set" 1st (as long as they fit to your playstyle, if they dont move to pure Brand Set Build), and then you can compliment them with a "Brand Set" (Brand Set = what you call manufacter Set).

Some ppl dont compliment with brand set. Meaning they just add 2 different pieces of Brand sets to take advantage of the 1st bonus. For example adding 1 piece for the Weapon Damage and other for crit or skill damage.

If it helps, for most of my general gameplay / Solo gameplay i use:
- Negociator DIlema (allows me to shoot 3 in 1, and even kill those nasty "controllers & healers" hiding behind something with indirect fire)
- Memento (gives me tank for my kamikaze runs, and without stacks is equivalent to 2 pieces of tank, plus they add Skill tier for more efficient skills)
- Crit chance / Damage Brand Set to complement where i lack in that department.
