From what I've seen on YouTube, it seems as though there will be nighttime pvp. Basically bla bla risk vs reward.
Here's a video. There was another directly from Ubisoft I think, but I'll have to do some more digging, will update:

Not really lazy considering that's the entire point of the game. Heartland is Ubisofts take on games like Escape From Tarkov or The Cycle: Frontier.
Nothing good comes from forcing pve players to pvp, but I guess that Ubisoft will have to learn that lesson, the hard way. Either way, I'll be sticking with The Division 2; Heartland is completely off of my radar.
That's the entire concept of these kind of games. Don't see any leverage to players who are upset about having to potentially PvP when that's the entire foundation of the game. Players fighting against each other to complete their own missions and objectives.
It like players complaining about getting PvP'd in DZs. Like you said, if you don't want to have PvP engagements, don't play it. Heartlands isn't targeted for players who don't want to PvP. Not too excited for Heartlands myself, but being forced into a PvPvE environment isn't going to stop me from trying it.
Unironically, I agree. Heartland is a late to the party PvPvE game that, due to the nature of its design, will have a lot of people dismissing it fairly quickly.
Agreed. I think Heartlands and the Division mobile game were a waste of resources, BUT The Division 2 is getting another DLC at the end of year 5. It's on their year 5 roadmap. On season 4 of year 5, there's Seasons 2.0 and a "Story DLC" listed.
See, you won't hear me complain about Dark Zones in TD 2, because -> I never go there <-. Simple.
As I said though, Ubisoft can and will do what they want, just as pve players will choose to or not to play Heartland. I myself won't be going anywhere near Heartland.
I just don't see the point of this argument, you're clearly are just overlooking the entire point of what Heartlands is suppose to be. Heartland is not targeted for players who don't want to PvP. It's supposed to be an open PvPvE map, like Cycle and Escape From Tarkov. If you don't like PvP games, then don't play PvP games and stop trying to make the game something it's not supposed to be.
What you're complaining about is like a PvP player going into the open world in Division 2 and complaining that there's no PvP in a PvE only environment. Understand the concept of a game before you start complaining. Don't like it, don't play it, it really is that simple. Literally nobody cares whether play Heartlands or not.
As I said, Ubisoft will do what they want, and the players who don't enjoy pvp will play or not play the game.
Now dude, I'm letting it go and moving on or more specifically, sticking with the Division 2. I have no interest in Heartland, so I will be forgetting that it exists and no longer talking about it. Good day.
