level 30 with 32 hours in
just seeing if its worth it to continue playing n get the dlc
DLC is a requirement if you want to play anything other than farming control points forever as the enemies start retaking them once you hit WT1. That's literally the ONLY leftover content for you to do, and it's for no real reason. Once you hit WT5 you're literally capped and nothing else can be done. It just turns into an empty "open world" waiting simulator while you're waiting for missions to reset, or for the crappy campus area to open.
ALL of the new free content is focused on the DLC areas. You can't even access raids, boss fights, multiplayer (Everyone has moved to the DLC area.), ect
You MUST own the DLC to access ANY of the new stuff, including the upcoming roguelike mode.
But if you're just wanting to solo, don't buy the DLC and find a different, deeper single player experience...
The division 2...well It's an MMOTPS. Why would you want to solo an MMO when half the rewards AND gameplay are locked behind playing on a team?
Sure it's highly detailed in terms of leveling, combat, builds, weapons, but it's not very detailed in terms of other things to do outside of all of that. So between that and the constant freezes, I got bored with this game.
+1 for this.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint suffers from some of the issues that TD2 has, in terms of there's not much to do besides combat, but at least the weapons variety, class/ tactics and approaches that can be used for attacking various sites or Behemoths is good enough to spend a while longer playing solo. (I've managed to clock up approaching 400 hours and still come back from time to time)
buy it. its worth it. best loot shooter in my opinion.
do you a favor and buy the addon.
If you could have seen the Random's I've played with you might think differently. At times it's a literal race to kill A bad guy. I play with Random's because it spices up my game when encounters go south.
I still solo CP4's but everything else is matchmake or open up my group.
I will say you'll probably get bored a lot faster if you play it purely solo, mainly because a large amount of replay value in the endgame is setting up a solid build for every situation, and you'll never *really* know how good your build is unless you play with/ against other people.
gonna buy warlords cause im looking forward to the roguelike mode
(granted this vid is 2 years old, so some things are probably different today)
if not played division 1, play division 1 first.
