Zooming out of the scoped weapons?
Recently started playing. Found my first scope (x12), but the moment I aim down sights, it auto zooms in through the scope. I remember in the first game you could exit the scoped view, was that removed in the 2nd?

edit: I've seen a keybind "zoom in/melee" in the options, but I doesnt do anything while I'm scoped in (other than well, melee when I'm not scoped)

If you have a scope that is 4x then you will exit scope while pressing zoom in melle button.
But the other scopes you wont get that.
And no it has always been like that.

What you saw a few years ago was a 4x scope.

Out of curiosity I launched Division 1, with my old character's loadout including rifle with 15x scope, and I can zoom in and out with it no problem. Even triple checked that it waas indeed a 15x scope XD
