Have to agree. Not very enjoyable to have all your effort be rewarded by losing all your armor, weapons, and skills. Not even certain if it's worth whatever you receive once it's been finished.
It targeted for newer players to help them learn and explore talents, gear and weapons.
I will. Why? Because It's fun.
It's the opposite of the Ascent. It's taking Survival mode (aka: the best mode that everyone raved about) from the Division 1, lowering the count (so you can have it fire more often) and comes down to decisions and build skill.
There is a little RNG in it like most Rogue-likes, but it's good fun for a free update. I'll probably stick with it when feeling up for something that isn't grinding in the game.
Really wish they brought back div 1 survival mode instead, most people who bought the game did it for the openworld stuff, not camping doors in repetitive rooms.
complaining "my equipment is gone" is kinda retarded ngl.
talents and elite opponents are ridicoulus
