- googled "division 2 servers not available"
- second option is "Error code MIKE-01 in The Division 2 | Ubisoft Help"
--- network service status mentions nothing stupidly enough
- clicked on connectivity troubleshooting guide
- clicked on pc
- clicked on ubisoft help

I can assure you that PLENTY of people play MMO's solo, course you need to team up for raids or wahtever but general gameplay you can do yourself and people do that just fine.

I play Division 2 solo or with friends and no, I dont interact with other players, so this game not letting me do that because servers are down is a bit silly....but I do get it from the perspective of your data and progress being saved to those servers.

If only you could play this offline and the content scales to be solo'able and i mean ALL of the content, it would be paradise, other players tend to be unreliable, unpredictable and hyperly toxic.

Now the Coop modes , sure if you want to play with other people you will need to be online ,

Now that I made the draw maybe the Looney Tunes understand what I have posted above !

This is an always-online game. Both the first and second games were very clear about this when you buy them. Says on the store page, "Internet Connection is Required".

The game is hosted on Ubisoft's servers, same as an MMO. If their servers are down, you can't play. When the servers go down for good, the game will be inaccessible. This was all made clear on the store page and in the ToS.

Once again I am not saying its not an online game , all I said its that isn't needed to be online to play the game main Campaign , and that is why I never buy any game on Ubisoft and on the release date , I use Steam cause doesn't mess with people to be online constantly to play games that you buy and once the servers are gone its useless... That is not even legal
that you buy any product and not be able to use it for life if you want , I still play games like Skyrim , Red Dead , GTA etc and from 12 years ago ... Another issue with Ubisoft is the constant Login and Mailing security Codes to from one day to the other even when you tick the Remember me case ... This Company went from BS to Complete BS, and all the things they do to prevent Piracy in the end Punishes the real buyers and clients .. This and the fact that the game App has News and they only use it to advert games when they could easy announce this Update and servers Maintenance in the App News .. but no Who cares .. its online game no its not , its a Game with online content .. The Net connection its for exclusively PVP and Online Coop Missions... So please spare me the lesson on what is an online game or not , it has a scripted open World Main Content and from there develops into PVP and Co Op Missions online if you want , not everyone plays it ...
