I can't seem to find any articles on this so im just write one.

Anyone encounter a bug where you can't progress on "Secure The second antiviral cylinder".

I killed the robot dog that carries it but nothing happens after. I have re-ran this more then 8 times and have done it 2 times a different way.

1: I kill the robot dog before it reaches the block gate
2: I kill the robot dog when it at the block gate

No enemies are in the area so its definitely not that.

I am really tired of these long @!# mission just for it to bug. I have delete re-verified the game data and uninstalling+deleting the game folder and reinstalling but my game bugs every time in the same place.

This, also make sure to kill the EMP otherwise it won't let you call for the helicopter.

Just shoot the signal gun afterwards and you will see that works wonders.

on the Xbox controller, this is probably the X button.
I only play via the Xbox Elite 2 controller.

I shoot that first since my turret wont work and I am heavily reliable on it.

No flare option. It worked on securing the first one so that I know how to do.

Thanks everyone for their positive input on this. Glad to see this community hasnt gone to #@!$.

I had a friend speed run it for me and it worked. Happy to be WT5 now I can relax and farm.

I have this issue can not call the allies to pick the anti viral cause the EMP is invisible but the sound and the effects are visible So cause I can not see the EMP can not destroy it and can't call the allies , restarted the mission two times and the same bug of the invisible EMP happens ..

I had this same bug a few years back and recently coming back playing again and the bug is still here.. The trick for me is to start from the place where you are not affected by the EMP then start moving forward and spam F to use flare before you effected by the EMP.

Well for me since the last 4 weekly invasions the second viral Robot carrier can be destroyed but the Pulse weapon that is in that second gate spawns bellow ground and I have to find a place next to the destroyed viral carrier to call the helicopter cause of being unable to destroy the Pulse .... since that first time it always spawns bellow ground !

you can shoot flare without destroying that invisible jamer there is no problem to progres on that mision
