Ghost mask - Hunter, bugged ?

like the title says , is this bugged? supposedly after you enabling the monitor and you get the 3 locations of the graves ( night time ) you go to each and you salute , when you salute (emote) you should get some UI distortion then you know that it worked and you go to the next grave , my problem is that i don't get any UI distortion or anything at all , so i cannot finish this . i have 7/8 ivory keys and i cannot get the last because of this ...

When you salute, did you angle yourself so that both grave and monument in the background are visible in your screen? Also I think I didn't have distortion at some graves either, but it worked anyway. Just make sure you do everything in a single night.

yea i face monument and grave at same time , i also tried once to complete it even if i don't see any distortion ( at same night) went to all 3 graves , then back to the monitor and monitor still showed the 3 locations

Maybe check which masks you have? There is a slim chance you've got ghost mask/key by randomly joining other players (I'm not sure whether collecting it disables monitor functionality, so could still be working) and are missing some other one?

Also there a couple dig sites around western most grave, mayhaps you were not exactly at the grave in there? Like check some videos for exact placing if you already hadn't.

In the end could be bug after all. So worst case find another player who hasn't done it yet and try with them as map host.

Same here. I've done all of the required steps, waited at night, and still not response from the tablet. I also think its bugged.

Nop is bugged same for me even the monument one where is the flag day/night salute nothing working ....then there is the one with the pool when you do the jumping jacks that wont spawn but if i set my game to normal/story it will spawn but not the other 2 idk man.....
5 out of 8 in DC and i think only 2/3 works in NY maybe if i start a new game and just try with a lv30 profile not sure tho ...

i just found a workaround thanks to some clan member, i just visited the graves clockwise , starting from right one to the middle and then to the left (furthest) and it worked like a charm, finally after days i managed to spawn the hunter and get the last key . so try that guys

Am kinda late to this I know, but i'm having the same issue, where my salutes of the graves are not causing the UI fuzz after the 1st press, and I can't press the button the 2nd time after the salutes.

Tried it with all 4 of my characters (all post WONY) with all combos of directives on/off and events on/off. No dice.

Ghost is the last of my DC hunters and it is just frustrating as hell not being able to get him and that last Ivory key...

Anyone have any luck or tips?

Am on the Uplay/UbiConnect version of the game by the way, username same as Steam if anybody wants to add me / join a clan (DM me on steam / Uplay. Am focused on mainly solo PvE tasks, occasionally group PvE, but for gods sake no raids or coundown.)

don't follow the order that the monitor shows , instead go from the right grave to the middle one and lastly to the left near the other control point , that's the only thing that helped me finish it

Turn off all directives... having any directives turned on bugs the hunter spawn i just discovered it. I couldnt spawn it on challangeing diff 4 directive but when i switched t o heroic with 0 directives it worked as a charm

I started to collect the hunter masks a few days ago and I have had no luck with the Wraith, Ghost, Midas & Revenant masks. All of the other hunters spawned, but not these where the puzzle happen to require emotes. I even get the UI distortion when I'm in the correct position..

I have tried turning directives on/off, heroic/normal, changing builds/items, in/out of combat, nothing seems to work, and at this point I'm fairly certain it's bugged


EDIT: I believe I may have finally solved it
I completed all bounties that show up in the "Progress" menu when pressing esc. I believe you have to complete all bounties in the area where each mask is located for each of the steps to trigger. I believe the bounty required for the Ghost mask is "Griffin company" Located in West Potomac Park.

I don't recall which bounty it was, but I had similar issues with the Wraith Mask, and it worked first try after the bounty I had left in that area.

My suggestion is to complete all bounties in the "Progress" menu (excluding daily bounties). That way all masks should work first try if my theory is correct.

I got all of the masks with directives and on the heroic difficulty.
